I had been using Saxenda for close to a year with successful weightloss, and then started to encounter stock issues. I found SkinnyJab on social media, and have been using since August. I was really nervous initially (about self mixing/using a proper injection not a pen etc) however the support groups on social media offered tons of advice.

The product always arrives next working day without fail. Mixing is so simple and the injections area really quite small, once you have done it once or twice it isn’t daunting anymore.

I started on the lowest dose as recommended and if I am honest I did not initially notice the same effect that Saxenda was having (i.e. I still felt hungry, I wasn’t getting the nausea/sickness I had with Saxeda etc) I carried on following the dose schedule for a few weeks and then I got impatient & upped it quite significantly – DO NOT DO THIS!

I was so unwell, in regards to sickness (I didn’t sleep a wink due to vomiting!) sulphury burps, nausea, etc that I had to have a day off work!! Safe to say, on my next dose, I returned to the recommended dosing schedule, and as all the groups had said, once it had the time needed to get into your system, it works!!

I now feel minimal hunger (usually only creeps in when my next dose is due), and eat significantly smaller portions as I just don’t fancy what’s on my plate when I am full. I only really get the nausea on the day I inject & then it goes away!

The weightloss is continuing and I am really really happy to carry on using over other brands.

Can’t reiterate enough, be patient & follow the dosage guidance!!

So I had gastric bypass surgery in 2015 and lost 12 stone after having another child I gained another 3st and this weight gain really caused me a lot of self doubt and panick.
